- What is Kratom?Kratom is the common term for the Mitragyna Speciosa plant, native to the Southeast Asia area of the world. It is a tree with leaves that contain compounds called "alkaloids" which have various effects on the body if ingested. Kratom has been used for thousands of years. Kratom powder is composed of the leaves and leaf stems/veins that have been dried and processed in a mill to crush them into a very fine powder (similar to flour or cinnamon).
- How is Kratom Used?Most people who take kratom ingest the powder by measuring out their dose on a spoon or scale, putting it on their tongue, and drinking it down with their favorite beverage. This is fondly known as the "Toss n' Wash" method. The alkaloids in kratom are bitter and the powder's texture can be a deal breaker for many people. Those people tend to prefer capsules instead. Our capsules are made in-house and each one consists of a vegan-friendly 00 size hypermellose capsule containing roughly 1/2 a gram of kratom powder. A typical dose is roughly 5-10 capsules (everyone's different, so titrate up until you find your own sweet spot).
- Will Kratom Interact With My Medications? We are not medical professionals. We can't provide any kind of medical advice whatsoever. All users of kratom are advised to talk to their primary care doctor and/or pharmacist to determine if they can safely use kratom. - What's The Deal With These "Potentiators" I Keep Reading About?Some compounds exist which will intensify or extend the duration of effects produced by kratom in the body. One of the most popular is grapefruit or grapefruit juice. Grapefruit contains a compound which deactivates an enzyme in the small intestine that normally destroys many of the alkaloids before they can be absorbed into the bloodstream. This deactivation significantly increases that amount of alkaloids absorbed into the bloodstream. All individuals should proceed with caution before ingesting grapefruit and verify whether it will interfere with any medical conditions or medications that they are using. Magnesium and the medication "Tagamet" are other possible potentiators. Beginners should avoid using any potentiators and focus on getting comfortable with kratom's own effects first. Since kratom's alkaloids are more easily extracted and absorbed in an acidic environment, taking it with citrus fruits or other acidic foods/drinks can help increase the efficiency of absorption.
- Got Any Other Tips For Me?Be sure to eat a light snack when taking kratom. Don't drive or operate heavy machinery when using kratom. Some people may experience constipation. If you've just eaten a large, fatty, or high protein meal, give a dose 1 to 1.5 hours to absorb and take effect before taking any more. As far as dosing goes, less is more. Kratom's energizing effects are more apparent with smaller doses, and the sedative or relaxing effects are more apparent at higher doses. - Do You Ship Internationally? Yes, we can ship wherever kratom is legal. Please contact us before ordering to discuss international shipments.
- Which Shipping Carrier Do You Use? We ship all orders through USPS. Our standard shipping is Priority Mail, which includes tracking info. We can ship orders via Priority Mail Express at an increased cost for those wanting their order as soon as possible. See our shipping and delivery page HERE to see the Priority Mail transit time map as well as more specific details. Feel free to call us for a more exact ETA before placing an order. Please call before placing an order if you live at an address which is not serviced by USPS.
- Can You Ship My Order Via UPS, Fedex, or DHL? Please contact us and we'll do our best to assist you.
- My Order Didn't Arrive. What Now?We're so sorry to hear that. Fortunately, it's very rare that an order isn't delivered correctly. Unfortunately, once we hand off the package to USPS its journey is up to them. Sometimes mistakes happen. We ask that you check with your neighbors to verify that your package wasn't delivered to the wrong address, and we ask that you give USPS 2 business days to see if the package is delivered late. If both of those things have been done, please call USPS and submit a lost mail request so they can attempt to locate the package. If you paid for Priority Mail Express and the package did not arrive on the guaranteed delivery date, you may be entitled to a refund from USPS; contact them for information.
- How Much Is Shipping?Our standard shipping method is USPS Priority Mail. The shipping charge for orders under $75 is $10. Orders over $75 ship for free. We also offer Priority Mail Express which is $30. We MUST receive Priority Mail Express orders before 2PM MST!
- How Will I Get My Tracking Info?We'll send you an email or a text message with the tracking number for your package.
- I Placed A Delivery Order, But Now I Realize That I Live Outside Your Delivery Service Area? What Now? We will ship any orders marked for delivery if they are outside the service area borders. Tucson and the local suburb area will generally receive Priority Mail in 1 business day as long as the order is placed before 3PM MST.
- I Got My Package And It's Damaged. What Now?Please contact us ASAP to discuss this.
- Can You Note Special Delivery Instructions On My Package? Yes, within reason. We can notate things like "Leave In Mailbox" or Leave By Front Door" on the label; the mail carrier has the final choice as to whether they follow the instructions, however.
- I'm A Returning Customer, But I Am Staying Somewhere Else Temporarily. Can You Send My Order To My Current Location? Yes, we can send packages "In Care Of" in cases like these. Please let us know about this in the order "notes" box on the ordering and checkout page so that we know which individual or business normally receives the mail at that address and we can make up the shipping label accordingly.
- I See A Charge From "Success Forces." Is That You?Yep, your bank or credit card statement will display your transactions with us as Success Forces Kafe USA. If you're unsure about a charge, please CALL US FIRST before disputing it so we have the chance to clear up any confusion.
- I Was Charged The Wrong Amount. What Now?Contact us and we will investigate the issue to make it right. Please CALL US FIRST before you file a dispute with your bank so we can take care of it first.
- How Can I Pay For My Order?For online orders, we accept all major credit/debit cards and Apple Cash. Our stores accept cash, all major credit/debit cards, Apple Cash TTP at the point of sale, and other digital device wallet payments via TTP at the point of sale. At this time, we do not accept PayPal, Venmo, CashApp, MetaPay, nor any form of foreign or crypto currency.
- So You Don't Take Checks?No, we cannot accept personal checks, cashier's checks, nor money orders as payment.
- Can I Pay You With A Direct ACH Transfer or Wire?No. However, we can debit that bank account instead by charging the debit card issued for the account, which accomplishes the same thing.
- I Have A Bunch Of Those $1 Coins. Do You Take Those At The Register?YES PLEASE! We will also exchange any dollar coins that you have for paper bills at any time. Our vending machines need $1 coins to function, so we appreciate them making their way back to us.
- Do You Charge A Processing Fee For Using My Credit/Debit Card?Nope!
- What's The Sales Tax There?It's 8.7% at the 5069 E 5th St location, 8.6% at the 4145 W Ina Rd location, and 8.7% at the 1st and River location.
- Can I Place An Order Online For In-Store Pickup And Pay For It When I Arrive? Certainly! We'll be sure to have it ready for you.
- Can I Bring My Children Into The Store With Me? Yes, we allow minors as long as they are accompanied and supervised by a parent/guardian at all times.
- Can I Bring My Pet Into The Store With Me? Yes, well behaved and potty trained animals are welcome. However, we ask that they're kept on a leash and do not disturb others in the shop. Pet owners will be liable for property damage/cleaning resulting from the actions of their pet. We ask that pets are kept off of the furniture in our lobby out of respect for other customers who may be sensitive to their hair and dander.

We were motivated to create a space filled with like-minded people where customers could come together to socialize, be creative, and relax. - Other Than Kratom Powder, Capsules, And Extracts, What Else Do You Offer?We also sell coffees, teas, hot chocolates, and similar hot drinks brewed on site and infused with kratom powder, with prices varying according to the amount of kratom that the customer desires (including 0 grams for those wanting just the drink itself). We sell some kratom swag as well such as notebooks, T-shirts, face masks, headbands, etc.

- So, What's The Deal With The Vending Machines? We understand that not all customers can make it into the shop during business hours, so we have vending machines available for after-hours use which are stocked with our most popular products! Customers enter through the front door of the building, and the machines are located just a few feet away within their own separated space at the front of each shop.
- How Do I Pay At The Vending Machines?The machines accept $1, $2, $5, $10, and $20 bills. It accepts pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, and all types of $1 coins (Sacagawea, Susan B. Anthony, Presidential, and American Innovation). The machines dispense any change that's due via all of the coins listed above. We appreciate when customers re-use the $1 coins to pay at our machines, since they are uncommon and it saves us the trouble of special ordering more! The machines also take all major credit/debit cards and the card readers do support Tap-to-Pay for digital wallets.
- How Do Credit/Debit Card Purchases Work?The machine pre-authorizes your card for the amount corresponding to the most expensive item available. You MUST have at least that much money available to charge on the card, otherwise the machine will refuse the transaction. Once you make your selection and the product is dispensed, the machine charges only that final amount.
- Do The Machines Accept Pre-Paid Single-Use Debit Giftcards Or Reloadable Debit/Cash Cards (Visa/Mastercard/Amex etc.)?Some of those cards will work, but some do not. We won't know for certain without testing the specific type that you have. The machines pre-authorize the card for $36 and then debit the full item cost at the time of sale, so please keep in mind that some cards can't be used at all because they're too low of a value or they may not have enough value left after making your first or second purchase.
- Whoa, Hold On! The Machine Says I Have A $36 Credit! Did It Just Charge Me $36?! No! Don't worry, that message simply means that your card has been pre-authorized and approved to spend up to $36. You will NOT be charged unless you purchase something, and you will ONLY be charged the price for the item that you selected. Once the purchase is complete, the charge is finalized immediately.
- I Purchased Something And It Got Stuck. Now What? Did I Get Charged?Sorry about that! It's rare, but it can happen. Please call 520-250-5510 if you ever have any issues and we will assist you, even after-hours. Please DO NOT hit, shake, or tilt the machine!!! Customers will be liable for any damage, and the machines are monitored 24/7 via video and audio surveillance. Our machines are equipped with a drop sensor which detects when an item fails to fall into the drop chamber. If an item doesn't fall completely, the machine will detect it and it will either refund your cash or cancel the credit/debit card transaction. Cards will NOT be charged if the item doesn't pass the drop sensor.
- I Put $X.XX Into The Machine, But It Didn't Give Me Credit For That Amount. Now What?Please contact us and we will assist you. Please ensure that your bills are clean, flat, and in overall good condition before inserting them. Please put coins into the machine gently and slowly so that each one can be registered and counted correctly. If coins are forced into the slot too quickly, it's likely that they'll stuck and jam the coin handler. The coin handler determines the coins' denomination by size and weight, so coins that are corroded or covered in gunk will not register correctly. You can push the coin return button to have the inserted cash returned to you at any time.
- I Wasn't Looking And I Pushed The Wrong Button. Can You Exchange The Item For What I Wanted?Please make your selection carefully. We often change the items sold in the machine, and the item you want may be moved to a different sleeve or no longer available. We can ONLY exchange products that are unopened. Please notify us ASAP to explain your situation and we will do our best to assist you.
- I Frequently Visit The Machine But You Don't Stock The Item That I Really Like To Buy.We love customer feedback! Please let us know what you'd like to see stocked in the machines and we'll see if it's possible to accomodate your request. However, some things just aren't vending machine friendly despite our best efforts.
- Can I Call, Text, Or Email You To Place An Order?It's important that all orders are received through this website for payment, tracking, and efficiency reasons. Ordering online is quick and easy, and you can create a user profile so that your payment and address info are stored securely for next time! You can log into your account later to track your order and view previous purchases. Placing an order with us has never been easier!!!
- Yeah, Computers Aren't My Favorite Thing In The World. Why Should I Order Online?We occasionally run secret sales which are exclusively found online. To get that discount price, you must place your order online. Additionally, we're ushering in our new website with some new policies, which means both shipping AND in-town deliveries FREE for orders over $75! This benefit only applies to orders placed online. Otherwise, for orders placed any other way there is always a $10 delivery charge regardless of the order total. Think of it this way: with that $10 saved simply by ordering online, you could order 20g more powder for the same price! It's easy, we swear!
- Is My Payment Information Safely Stored?Absolutely! All of your information is heavily encrypted (stored under digital lock and key) and the entire website uses HTTPS protocol for extra security. We never see your card info here at the shops; the payment processor handles all of that in secrecy.
- I Want To Place An Order And Pick It Up In The Store. Can I Do That?Yes! There are options in the shipping section of the checkout page where you can choose whether you want to pick up your order at the 5th St shop or the Ina Rd shop. Pickup is free. You can pre-pay online by entering your card info, or you can choose to pay in the store at the register upon arrival.
- What If I Need Someone Else To Pick Up The Order? No problem. They can pay for it themselves at the register in the shop upon arrival, or you can pay for it yourself online and just send them to fetch it for you. Please let us know in the order "notes" section if there are any specifics that we need to know about your pickup order. Keep in mind that anyone picking up orders must be 18 years old or older, otherwise we won't be able to release the order to them regardless of being pre-paid or not.
- What If I Forget My Username Or Password?Contact us and we can give you a hand with that.
- I Have Specific Info Regarding My Order That I Need To Make Sure You Receive. What Do I Do?During the checkout process as you're finalizing your order and entering your payment info, there's a "notes" box where you can type whatever you'd like us to know about the order or shipping/delivery. You can put things like "Please leave the order on my patio table" or "Please include a few business cards" or "Please include my phone number on the shipping label." We will contact you if we need any further info or clarification.
